Where care feels like home

Haus der Barmherzigkeit is a place to call home. At 27 locations across Vienna and Lower Austria, we combine professional nursing and care with genuine quality of life, creating space for dignity, self-determination, and a life worth living.
How your donation brings joy to life
Your donation helps us provide our residents with the best possible individual care, therapies, and a living environment that allows them to live their best life under the circumstances.
Enhancing quality of life
Our residents have individual needs and desires. With your support, we can meet these even better and help enhance their quality of life.
Providing essential equipment
Walking aids, nursing beds and therapy equipment are essential to our daily work. Your donation helps fund equipment that goes beyond standard facilities.
Funding specialised therapies
Thanks to your support, we can offer a wide range of therapies, from physiotherapy and occupational therapy to psychological and palliative care.
Bringing people together
Group activities help our residents form communities and keep up their social lives. Music, games, and creative activities bring joy, foster meaningful connections, and create a sense of community.

Giving from the heart
Every donation helps us to in turn help our residents to live a joyful life. People with chronic illnesses and severe disabilities benefit the most. We handle your donation with great care and responsibility, as confirmed by the Austrian Seal of Donation Quality.
